Meet Dr. Ronald and Ronah

Dr. Ronald Kaluya is a passionate leader, counselor, and humanitarian who has dedicated his life to transforming rural Uganda through a holistic approach that addresses spiritual, emotional, and physical needs. As the Founder and Executive Director of Uganda Counseling and Support Services (UCSS), a registered nonprofit in both Uganda and the United States, Dr. Kaluya, alongside his wife Ronah, are pioneering lasting change in some of the most underserved communities in Eastern Uganda.

Born and raised in Uganda, Dr. Kaluya earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Makerere University before responding to a divine call to serve his people more deeply. In 2008, he moved to the United States to pursue advanced training in counseling and Christian leadership, completing a Master of Education in Counseling and Human Development (specializing in Mental Health Counseling) and a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership at Lindsey Wilson College. He later earned his Doctorate in Ministry with an emphasis on Global Health and Wholeness from Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas.
