What's Springing Up in Uganda?
"...so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations." (Isaiah 61:10-11).
Dear Friends,
From overgrown fields and fallow grounds - broken lives and broken hearts, you and faithful UCSS partners have showered kindness that has produced a crop of hope that is transforming Uganda one village at a time.
As spring begins in the States, doors continue to spring open here in Bulike & Buluya as more families from nearby communities come to receive healthcare, education, or a way to get fresh water to their community. They also find what they didn't know they were looking for: Jesus. Thus, we find ourselves with a “good problem”.
The problem:
Too many are still without basic needs because of lack of funds.
There are too few wells, too few doctors, classrooms, and churches as hundreds still walk miles to access UCSS wells, medical facilities, and schools.
UCSS Partnership Results
As you watch these video clips, can you see yourself being the one bringing water to a community? The one sponsoring education for a child or a whole classroom, changing lives forever? Would you like to be the reason these videos are possible: The reason praise is springing up in neighboring Nakalama, Nabasiki, or Inula and beyond?
UCSS friends enable community members like Charles to be trained how to make a living off the very land that sat lifeless for generations.
From alcoholics to evangelists – change is made possible by partners like you. This week 19 pastors, assistants, and 40 others attended training.
