SubjectStudents are making a BIG impact on their communities

Students and teachers hold hands in a rural Eastern Ugandan village during an education session

I am so blessed by your faithfulness. Your generosity, your prayers, and your encouragement help build up communities. We see this especially in the lives of the next generation who are finding hope in real, tangible ways.

We have found that education is one of the most powerful tools to transform a child’s life. When a child attends UCSS schools consistently, they gain far more than academic knowledge. They gain confidence, practical skills, freedom to dream, and most of all they gain the knowledge of God’s unconditional love. The transformation ripples through the community, raising villages out of poverty, building up strong foundations, and giving families hope.

Furthermore, your partnership allows this impact to continue in the student’s home as well. Many students go back with practical skills they can apply in everyday life: skills that help their families and provide a way to earn income. It’s one more way education builds stability for the whole household.

In school, I learned how to make liquid soap and bar soap and sell it to the village which will help me earn money and start a foundation for my next year.

Our partners have made it possible this past term for 1,674 students to be enrolled throughout our five schools, and 71 students are now pursuing higher education with the support of UCSS.

Friend, each number represents a story of perseverance, growth, and opportunity. Thank you for being here. Your partnership and support is truly transforming Uganda one student, one family, one village at a time.

Standing with you,
Dr. Ronald Kaluya
UCSS Founder and Executive Director
