Because of partners like you, this past couple of weeks have been filled with moments that remind us why we serve. Some incredible things have happened that I wanted to share, in hopes that it will encourage you as it has encouraged me.
🎶 Victory in Music, Dance & Drama
Your investment in the children that attend Bulike Christian Community Primary School just paid off beautifully; they took FIRST PLACE in the sub-county music, dance, and drama, securing a spot in the upcoming district competition! The confidence you've helped build was on full display.
🛡 Child Protection Training
Thanks to partners like you, UCSS teachers, pastors, and volunteers took part in essential skills training to safeguard children’s rights, identify risks, and respond appropriately to concerns. This is part of our ongoing commitment to providing safe, nurturing environments for every child.
⚽ Sports for Skills & Spirit
Additionally, friend, you are helping build the next generation of leaders through sports. Our students are preparing for upcoming football competitions—building discipline, teamwork, and physical fitness while boosting school spirit.
🌱 Sustainability in Action
Finally, Bulike Christian Community Primary School has established a vegetable nursery bed and a small-scale garden to improve student feeding and promote agricultural learning. These efforts nourish both body and mind while fostering long-term self-reliance.
Looking ahead, we have vacation Bible school planned where over 2000 students in and around Bulike will come to be blessed with the good news of Jesus and experience the unconditional love of God. How can this happen? It happens when friends give $35 per month to sponsor a student and when friends become UCSS Lifers with a monthly donation of any amount. But. It doesn't happen without you. There is no UCSS without you.
We remain deeply grateful for the leadership, commitment, and teamwork that make these milestones possible. I am equally grateful for you and your sincere commitment to the UCSS vision to transform Uganda one community at a time. Together, we are raising a well-rounded, Christ-centered generation.
