Growing in HOPE!

Here in Eastern Uganda, farmers plant seeds months before they see any sign of growth. They prepare the soil, they plant with care, and then...they wait.

This waiting requires faith.

Spiritual growth works in much the same way. It has been on my heart that many of you may be praying faithfully, serving quietly, giving generously, and still wondering if anything is changing.

But I assure you, just like the seeds in the ground, God is always working beneath the surface.

When I think about the seeds of hope being planted and growing, I think of Beatrice, a local mother of eight who once faced the heartbreaking reality of not knowing how she would feed her children each day. Life was filled with uncertainty, and opportunities felt out of reach.

Everything began to change when Beatrice joined the UCSS agriculture program. There, she learned modern farming techniques that transformed her small home farm. What once produced barely enough to survive soon began yielding abundant harvests, providing not only food for her family, but also income to support them.

Today, Beatrice’s children are healthy, fed, and attending school. Her home is filled with renewed hope and stability. And beyond the physical transformation, her family is growing spiritually as well, faithfully attending their local church and building a future rooted in faith and purpose.

What began as a few seeds planted in faith has grown into lasting transformation for an entire family.

By God’s grace and faithful friends and partners, we have witnessed, not just transformation of individual lives such as Agnes, but entire communities transformed over time. Not because of one dramatic moment, but because of consistent, faithful investment. Seeds planted in faith eventually produce a harvest of hope, healing, and transformation.

Do not be discouraged by what you cannot yet see.

Growth is happening.

How can we pray for your family? What areas are you seeing growth in your life? We would love to hear from you.

With Gratitude and Hope,

Ronald and Ronah
