Two Boreholes Completed!

Since getting the water well rig Buliki in January, we have wasted no time putting it to good use. We’ve already completed two boreholes – praise God !

The total cost for drilling the well was $2,255 based on the 2 water wells so far drilled. These were drilled in areas where the water table was not so deep and the ground was fairly easy to penetrate. The cost may vary in deeper water tables areas and with hard granite. Deeper table areas may require more PVC pipes, pipe centralizer, rods and use of a compressor. However, the cost should ideally not exceed $2,500.

Please note that the community has been asked to participate in the cost of drilling the water by contributing to the construction and installation of the water well, estimated cost is at $185. They are also expected to be involved in the maintenance of the water well after it is drilled.

Without doubt water wells are needed to provide clean water and eliminate many health issues in the community.  It would be a great blessing for UCSS to dig at least 10 water wells this year.

If God is moving you to support this ministry, there are three things you can do now:

Thank you for all of your ongoing support!
